Dr. Xu Li is a co-founder, Executive Chairman of the Board, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer. He was appointed as a Director on December 15, 2015 and redesignated as an Executive Director on August 23, 2021. He is primarily responsible for the Group's vision, strategy, business development and day-to-day operations. Dr. Xu has served as an adjunct professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University since December 2018. Before joining the Group, Dr. Xu worked as a research scientist at Lenovo Group Limited from August 2013 to March 2015, and as a postdoctoral researcher at The Chinese University of Hong Kong from October 2010 to July 2013. Dr. Xu received his bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in July 2004, his master's degree in computer engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in March 2007, and his PhD in computer science and engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in December 2010. His research focuses on computer vision and computational imaging. Dr. Xu was ranked among the top ten in Fortune's Global 40 Under 40 in 2018 and was named to Fortune China's 40 Under 40 list for five consecutive years from 2017 to 2021. He also received the 2018 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year China Award in the technology category and the Hong Kong Innovation Leader Award from Our Hong Kong Foundation in 2019.
